Invisalign in Downey: Straighten Your Teeth Without Anyone Knowing

Clear aligners move your teeth gradually, and because they’re nearly invisible, many people around you never notice. Dr. Sanjabi handles your Invisalign treatment himself, in the same Downey office where you do your cleanings.

How It Works

How Clear Aligners Work

Invisalign uses a series of custom-made clear plastic trays to shift your teeth into alignment over time. Each tray moves your teeth a small amount, and you switch to the next tray every one to two weeks as your teeth progress.

The trays are clear, so they’re difficult to see when you’re wearing them. They’re also removable, so you take them out to eat, to brush and floss, and for anything else where you want them out.

1–2 weeks

per tray. Treatment length varies by case. Minor corrections can be done in a few months. More significant movement takes longer. Dr. Sanjabi gives you a realistic estimate based on what your teeth actually need.

This Is For You If

Invisalign works well for mild to moderate alignment issues. For more complex orthodontic cases, Dr. Sanjabi will tell you if traditional braces or a different approach would get you a better result.

What It Fixes

What Clear Aligners Can Address

Crowding

When your teeth overlap or are pushed out of line because there isn’t enough room. Aligners gradually create space and move teeth into a more even position.

Gaps

Space between teeth, whether from a missing tooth that was never replaced or just natural spacing, can be closed with aligners over time.

Mild overbite or underbite

When the upper and lower teeth don’t meet correctly. Aligners can address mild versions of these issues. Severe bite problems usually require a different approach.

Crooked or rotated teeth

Individual teeth that are turned or angled differently from the rest. This is one of the most common reasons patients come in for Invisalign.

The Process

How Your Invisalign Treatment Works Here

01

Free consultation and 3D scan

Dr. Sanjabi examines your teeth and takes a 3D digital scan. No impressions, no trays full of putty. The scan builds a precise picture of your current alignment and maps out the movement plan.

02

Your custom aligners

Your trays are made from the digital scan. Each set is custom to your teeth. Dr. Sanjabi reviews the treatment sequence with you so you understand what’s happening at each stage.

03

Wearing your aligners

Plan to wear them 20 to 22 hours a day. The more consistently you wear them, the more predictable the result. You switch to a new set every one to two weeks and come in for periodic check-ins.

04

Retention

Once your teeth have moved to their final position, a retainer keeps them there. Skipping the retainer is how teeth drift back. Dr. Sanjabi walks you through what retention looks like for your case.

Mild to moderate alignment

Mild to complex cases

Clear aligners aren’t always the better choice. For some bite problems or more complex movement, traditional braces allow more control over the movement. Dr. Sanjabi will tell you which one serves your situation.

Sequencing

Using Invisalign as Part of a Bigger Smile Plan

Patients who want veneers sometimes need to straighten their teeth first. Veneers work best when the underlying alignment is good, so the porcelain can be placed evenly and the final result looks natural.

Cost

What Invisalign Costs

The cost varies based on how much movement is needed and how long treatment takes. Minor corrections cost less than a full treatment plan. Some dental insurance plans cover a portion of Invisalign, particularly for adults.
