All-on-X / Teeth in a Day Questions
Does it really happen in one day?
Yes. Dr. Sanjabi places the dental implants and a full set of fixed teeth in a single visit. You come in with your current situation. You leave the same day with a full set of teeth you can smile and eat with.
This isn’t a temporary fix or a placeholder. Your same-day teeth are real, fixed teeth. Your final set comes after everything has settled, but you’re never sent home without something in your mouth.
Will I have teeth during the healing period?
Yes, the whole time. You’re never without teeth at any point in the process. You leave surgery day with same-day fixed teeth. Once everything is healed and ready, Dr. Sanjabi places your permanent final set. There’s no gap in your smile at any stage.
Am I too old to get dental implants?
No. Age alone isn’t a disqualifier. Many patients in their 60s, 70s, and beyond have had dental implants placed here successfully.
"I'm so happy to have my smile back and self confidence. I'm 72yrs old and feel like I'm 20 yrs old again."
— Leobardo Castillo
I was told I don't have enough bone. Is that the final word?
Being told you don’t have enough bone doesn’t always mean dental implants are off the table. Using 3D imaging and digital planning, Dr. Sanjabi evaluates your anatomy to find the right solution. When standard dental implants aren’t an option, he has extensive experience with advanced techniques, including zygomatic, pterygoid, and transnasal implants, along with bone grafting, that let many patients who were turned away elsewhere receive fixed teeth. Bone grafting and sinus lifts are handled here in-house, so you don’t need a separate specialist or a second office.
Bring whatever imaging you have from a previous consultation. One visit here will tell you where you actually stand.
Single Dental Implant Questions
What is a dental implant, exactly?
A dental implant is a small titanium post that goes into the jawbone and acts as a root. A crown attaches on top. The result looks, feels, and works like your own tooth. It stays put, keeps the bone from shrinking at the gap, and doesn’t involve grinding down healthy teeth the way a bridge does.
How long do dental implants last?
With proper care, dental implants are built to last a lifetime. The crown on top may eventually need to be replaced, but the dental implant itself is a long-term solution. Your treatment also qualifies for our 12-year warranty once your final teeth are delivered, as long as you keep good oral hygiene and attend your recommended maintenance and follow-up visits, with the same doctor seeing you for years. Your first maintenance is included at your 6-month follow-up.
Can I get a dental implant if I just had a tooth pulled?
In many cases, yes. Whether Dr. Sanjabi can place the dental implant immediately or after a healing period depends on the condition of the bone and the site. This is something he assesses at your free consultation, and the answer isn’t the same for every patient.
Cost and Financing Questions
How much does it cost per month?
Many patients finance their treatment, which makes the monthly number far more manageable than the total figure people dread seeing.
• Single dental implant: starting at $100/month
• Snap-on denture (implant-supported): starting at $150/month
• All-on-X full arch (a full set of new teeth): starting at $299/month
Additional costs may apply for sinus lifts, IV sedation, or dental implants beyond 4 per arch.
Your exact monthly figure is worked out at your free consultation, before you decide anything.
Do you take insurance?
Yes, the practice accepts PPO insurance. Coverage for dental implants varies widely by plan, so when you come in, the team goes through your coverage with you and tells you exactly what applies.
What financing options are available?
Dr. Sanjabi’s office works with CareCredit, Proceed Finance, Cherry, Alphaeon, Sunbit, and LendingClub. You’re never asked to figure out financing on your own. A team member walks you through the options at your consultation, before you commit to anything.
Is the consultation really free?
Yes, completely. No fees, no hidden costs, no pressure to move forward. You get a 3D scan, a full exam, a complete treatment plan, and your financing options laid out. You leave knowing exactly where you stand, and you decide from there on your own timeline.
“I had a free consultation with Dr. Sanjabi, and he really took the time to carefully assess my dental needs. The level of detail, care, and attention was unlike anything I’ve experienced before.”
— Christy Lobos-Serpas
Comfort and Sedation Questions
Does it hurt?
The surgery itself isn’t painful. You’re kept comfortable with local anesthesia and sedation, oral sedation for many cases and IV sedation when it’s the right fit, so you shouldn’t feel pain during the procedure. Afterward, some swelling is normal and easily managed, and many patients say the recovery was far easier than they expected.
“I was so nervous today about getting my wisdom teeth pulled… Dr Sanjabi really made me feel at ease and cared for. The process was quick and painless. He took his time to explain to me what he’s going to do and how it will feel.”
— Paigmon Fatanat
What if I am afraid of the dentist?
You’re not alone. Dental anxiety keeps many patients away from care for years. Dr. Sanjabi works with patients who are nervous, scared, or have had bad experiences elsewhere. He takes his time, explains everything before it happens, and never rushes or pushes. Oral sedation handles many cases, and IV sedation is available for patients who would rather be fully asleep during their procedure.
General Questions
Do you speak Spanish?
Yes. The team is here for our Spanish-speaking neighbors in Downey. You’ll be able to have your consultation, your treatment planning conversation, and your follow-up visits explained in the language you’re most comfortable in.
Does one doctor really do everything?
Yes. Dr. Sanjabi does the surgery and the new teeth himself, start to finish, in this office. He doesn’t refer you out for the surgical portion, or hand you to a separate restorative doctor. One doctor is accountable for your whole result. Many patients tell us that’s the difference they felt on day one.
What if I have a complicated case?
Bring it. Many patients come to Dr. Sanjabi after being turned away at another office, or after a denture or old dental work finally failed. Complex cases, multiple missing teeth, bone loss, previous failures, these are handled in-house without sending you elsewhere.
